Call drop analysis exercise

Check the KPI report:

1. What’s the call drop rate in KPI stats? ERAB drop rate ~27%

1. What’s the handover drop rate in KPI stats? Intra eNB HO ~26%, Inter eNB HO ~30% failures

1. Is there difference between DRB Drop Ratio and E-RAB Drop Ratio? Why? RB
drop rate 12%,
but DRB setup success rate lower that ERAB setup success rate. The reason
is that there is always new DRB setup in HO. So, the number of DRB setups
and releases are different to ERAB.

2. Check “Too Early HO” and “Too Late HO” KPIs. Is there any problem in the network? What? Too
Early HO counters indicate problems in HO RACH phase.

Check the Nemo log:

4. Can you find any call drop or handover drops in the drive test log? Are the drops caused by bad RF
conditions or something else? What? Problems in RACH phase, not directly coverage related.
