Eric Arthur blair born on 25 june 1903- 21 jan
1950 and he is better known by his pet name
George Orwell, was a English novelist, Journalist
and Critic whose work is marketed by lucid prose,
awareness of social injustice , etc.
Orwell wrote literary criticism,
poetry, fiction, and polemical Journalist. He is best
known for the allegorical novella ANIMAL FARM
(1945) and the dystopian novel Nineteen eighty-
four(1949).
Born in Motihar Bihar India. As
well he work for awareness of social injustice,
oppsition to totalitarinism . Well work as Police
Officer also.
 Napolean : Main Character, rules with brutality ,
represents joseph stalin .
 Mr. Jones : Farm owner ,Drunk who mistreats animals.
 Snowball : Intelligent, great asset,Exellent strategies.
 Squealer : Great public speaker , mouthpiece for the
fascist regime.
 Boxer : Strong, Hardworking, Dedicated, Powerful.
 Benjamin : Can read and write, doesn’t participte in the
rebellion Think nothing ever changes
This novel is a frictional story talks about a
animal farm when russian revolution was
happening.
The owner of the farm was Mr. JONES
a heartless man who mistreats all the animals
of the farm.
One day Mr. JONES came home and was very
drunk that he didn’t close the door and the all
the animals came together to have
conversation with each other
One day a boar named old major incourages
the farm animal start a rebel aginst the humans
The old major dies after few days then three
young pigs name snowball and napolean and
squaler planned to leade.
Napoleon makes false promises to the animals
of the farm and makes them works more
vigourously.
Life gets worst on the farm for the animals
even more difficult then earlier it was for them
and in the and many of them died due to
starving
There are many things which we need to learn from
the book
Following are some of them:-
 Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts
absolutely.
 People should not trust anyone blindly, like
the animals did in the book.
 Media and communication are very powerfull
tools as it can change the public opinion and
mindset of people
