WHAT IS SUCCESS

• Obama once held the highest office in the land — but he doesn't equate power
with success. At the 2012 Democratic National Convention, First Lady Michelle
Obama told the audience that her husband "started his career by turning down
high-paying jobs and instead working in struggling neighborhoods where a steel
plant had shut down." She went on: "For Barack, success isn't about how much
money you make. It's about the difference you make in people's lives."
 WHAT IS SUCCESS
• Actually definition of success is purely individual. But lets see the views of different successful

expansion of happiness and the progressive realization of worthy goals. So I personally feel
that making a impact on society or difference you make in peoples life is success.
HOW TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS
• Now that we have defined our own definition of success we move on to
achieve that and take small steps at a time. What ever be the definition of
success for each of us the path or steps to be followed are same and we get
to create what we want to become. There are ten components of success .Let

INSPIRATION
• All of us at certain time in our life are inspired by certain people event or
circumstances. We are encouraged to follow a path which is closed to our
heart and the inspiration ignites the fire , the urge to achieve something which
we have dreamt of. The first step to success is this INSPIRATION. But a lot more
than this is required. Let's see.
 ASPIRATION
• Aspiration is a strong desire, a yearning a longing in the heart to achieve .It is
the urge to fuel the fire ignited by the Inspiration. This is the second step
towards success.
PASSION
• The more passionate you are about yourself, your work, your life, or whatever
it is you are doing…the more positive energy you give off. True happiness
comes when you do what you are most passionate about. When what you do
is in alignment with who you are, you get energy from doing it.
 MINDSET
• MINDSET can be two types. Growth mindset who rises up after every fall with
more strength and vigor. Fixed mindset who give in at the first fall. Growth
mindset see opportunity in every failure and Fixed mindset sees failure in
every opportunity.
PATIENCE
• Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering
without becoming annoyed or anxious. It is a very important component of
success. It is forbearance.
FOCUS
• Focus is the thinking skill that allows people to begin a task without
procrastination and then maintain their attention and effort until the task is
complete.
DISCIPLINE AND PRACTICE
• Discipline and practice makes a man perfect. It hones their skill, it polishes
their ability, it leads to a successful life. Discipline and practice is what
Tendulkar is.
DETERMINATION
• Determination is simply not giving up. No matter how hard things get, or how
badly you want to just give up, you keep on going. It is the firmness of
purpose.
PERSPIRATION
• Perspiration is sheer hard work. It is the ability to work day and night focusing
on the goal with patience and perseverance. It leads to success.
PERSEVERANCE
• Perseverance is not giving up. It is persistence and tenacity, the effort required
to do something and keep doing it till the end, even if it's hard. Perseverance
originally comes from the Latin perseverant and means to abide by something
strictly. It is the last component of success. It is the most important component
as it decides the thin line between being successful and not being successful.
