RESCUE ,REHABILITATION AND


REINTEGRATION OF CNCP

RESCUE - Rescue comprises responsive
operations that usually involve the saving of the
life or prevention of injury during and incident or
dangerous situation.
REHABILITATON – Rehabilitation is the act of
restoring something to its original state ,like the
rehabilitation of forest that had once been cleared
for use as an amusement park.
REINTEGRATION – Reintegration refers to the
process of reentry into society by person that have
been in prison.
 CNCP means children in need of care and
protection.
 Care and protection of children act came into force
in 1986.Its comes under the juvenile justice. Article
19 of UN also deal with the same.
 It refers to providing care and protection to the
children who need care and protection for various
reason.
 It deals with the children without any homes or
settled place or mentally , physically challenged.
 Children who are suffering from incurable
diseases have no one to look after .
 Due to urbanization and industrialization
 Due to the deaths of AIDS/HIV affected
person.
 Re-marriage of widowed or divorce women.
 Absence of love and security in the families.
 Unwanted pregnancy of Trafficking / Sexually
exploited girls.
 Family disputes
 To provide orphan / semi orphan / street children, a
childhood that they never experienced and help them
to become useful members of the society.
 To encourage orphan / semi orphan / street children
to kindle their potential by providing creative
opportunities
 To make available a secure place where orphan / semi
orphan / street children can play and enjoy their
childhood.
 To provide basic education to orphan / semi orphan /
street children.
 To provide such welfare services like free lodging,
boarding, health and recreation
 To provide basic literacy and facilities for
those who wish to study further
 To select and prepare for a vocation in order to
live on their own legs
 To accomplishing physical, intellectual and
aesthetic development of the child
 We have been identifying orphan / semi orphan /
street children through our volunteers, citizens,
police, women & child welfare department. We
Pre-view of the incoming orphan / semi orphan /
street child problems/difficulties. We counsel and
arrange for Emotional acceptance of the orphan /
semi orphan / street child. We provide Lodging
and boarding facilities for all inmates at a rented
building in muzaffarpur city. We arranged
teaching facilities in nearby schools according to
their age. We also provide home tuitions,
recreation and health care.
 In our project area number of Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street
 Children are found. The problem of orphan / street children is
acute due to various causes that we have already discussed these
orphan and street children are left without care and support.
These children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing and
participating in anti social, criminal activities. According to new
study by international children’s charity 4 percent population
which is about 20 millions are orphans.Therefore, we envisage
mainstreaming these children in the national building by
providing care, support and protection in our Ngo.By performing
this project we have found this is one of the major problem in
specially the areas of Bihar . according to me the major reason
behind these problem is Illiteracy.I think government should pay
their attention toward this issues by launching some programmes
and implementing some policies as well as by camping in rural
areas .
