So, what is Copywriting?
“Copywriting is the art and science of strategically
delivering words (whether written or spoken) that get
people to take some form of action.”

Definition:
Involves the unique creation of text for a specific
purpose.
The process of writing words to promote a business,
person, opinion or idea.
i.e someone writes something specifically for you
for your specific purposes

 Interested in people, and what makes them tick
 Sympathetic to peoples needs

 When most people think of “writing careers,” they think
they have two choices:

 You can become an author and write books — fiction, non-


fiction, biographies, and so on.
 Or, you can get yourself a journalism degree, and write articles
and news stories for newspapers and magazines — either as a
freelancer or staff writer
