Catherine
 Catherine is an unimportant character. She is
a weak character, having little independence
of outlook. She has been introduced un the
story merely to show that the daughter of the
Binnette’s were a motley group. Somewhere
strong minded while other were weak. Some
were intellectually sound, while others were
feeble in mind. Catherine may well be
contrasted with Elizabeth. In the novel we
always find Catherine sitting beside her
mother without either disturbing her or
creating any problems for her. Elizabeth and
Jane engaged most of there parents attention.
Whenever MR. Benneth was in trouble she
called her kitty to help her.
Lady Catherine De Bourgh
Lady Catherine has been introduced in Pride and
Prejudice through collins. The bennet’s of long
bourn heard About lady Catherin from callins
first of all. She was in a possession of a large
estate in Hunsford. It has vey bounty which
endowed the rectory of the Paris of Hunsford on
Callins. There is yet another aspect of lady
Catherin’s personality revealed to us in a
subsequent chapter. Darcy happened to be lady
Catherin’s nephew. When Elizabeth refused to
promise that she would not entertain the idea of
marrying Darcy. Lady catherin’s flew into rage.
She called elizabeth head strong and selfish. In
this way Lady Catherin’s ultimately plays an
important role in this story.
Charlotte Lucas
Charlotte Lucas was a daughter of Sir william
Lucas living neighborhood of Long Bourn.
There was a long standing between the family
of Bennet’s and Lucases. Charlotte came into
prominence with the apperence of callins in the
scene. At first callins proposed to Elizabeth.
But the offer was decline by the latter.
Thereafter callin diverted himself to Lucas
Ladge and began to court Charlotte. When
Charlotte was engaged to callins she came to
Long Bourn to tell Elizabeth about it. There
was a dialogue by Charlotte to Elizabeth that
“Not all of us can afford to be romantic.”
Sir William Locus
Sir William Lucas is a friend and neighbor
of the Bennet family. He is pleasant but
not overly deep or intellectual. He is
obsessed with having been granted
knighthood. He is father to Charlotte and
Maria Lucas. Sir William Lucas is an
irresponsible parent. Sir William
Lucas does not belong to the 'landed
gentry' which is the upper class. Like
Bingley and Mr.Gardiner he belongs to
the 'trading class. Sir William's age is not
known he is married to Lady Lucas and
have three to five children.
Marry Bennet

place in novel.

 She was young lady of lively disposition.
