    To scan signals using the W995 device, connect it to the MS, select the MS for scanning, lock the radio access technology to WCDMA, change the speech codec to Modified Mode and select UmtsAmrWb, set the WCDMA cell selection to Modified type with a control mode lock of 10563 for 3 operators and no scrambling codes selected, set the scanner properties, then click Start Scanning and Record to save the logfile and begin recording.
