A website consists of web pages that are
written in HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE
(HTML)
 Hypertext markup language (Html) is the text
markup language that is currently used for the
web.
 It lets us create pages that can be read on the
web and informs the web browsers how to
display web pages
 A website structure is the framework that makes the
entire content presentable to the audience.
 A website is composed of three main sections : the
home page , the main sections , and the
subsections.
 The Home Page is the first page of the website .The
main section usually contains the headings. The
subsections contain most of the content
 It can be used to display any type of document on the host
computer , which can be anywhere in the world
 It is a versatile language and can be used on any
platform(Macintosh, UNIX , Windows , etc)
 It is used to make the text look attractive.
 It is easy to learn.
 It is not a software programming
language and has to depend on
scripting language for that .
 It is neither a word processing tool nor a
desktop publishing
