PROPOSAL
Project Proposal
 written presentation of a project, program or innovation you
plan to implement.
 Submitted to an appropriate agency or association for
implementation or funding.
 E.g. “Planning to implement a literacy project for out-of-school-
youth in your barangay.
Planning Stage Questions:
• Why are you proposing the project?
• How will you be doing it?
• When and where it will be done?
• How much will it cost?
PROJECT BACKGROUND
 Gives an overview of what the project is all about.
 Give the ffg: rationale, reason for conducting and exisiting
realities and scenarios to justify the conduction
 This part should convince the funding agency that your project
is worth pursuing and is not a waste of money.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES/OUTCOMES
 State explicitly what the project aims to achive
 Objectives should be SMART(Specific, Measurable,Reasnable
Attainable, Time Bound)
PROJECT METHODOLOGY
• indicate in detail how you will go about the project
• Includes work breakdown or staffing, task time estimates and
project deliverables.
• Budgetary requirement
