Why this campaign?
 Providing legal aid and assistance to the women in need.

 Making women aware of their legislative rights.

 Uplifting the position of women across the country.

 Improving our rank on Human Development Index (HDI), and Rule


of law index (RLI).

 Making government bodies accountable regarding their duties


towards women.
The current Scenario
 Multiple women specific laws with lack of awareness.

eg- The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, Dowry prohibition Act,
1961, etc).

 Illiteracy derailing the status of women.

 Lack of legal awareness among rural area.

 Offences are rather being tolerated than fought against.

 Absence of well regulated volunteers on ground level.

 Inefficiency of legal aid provided by the government.

faced by women are not reported.
High female literacy rate = greater reporting of violence against women
Ways of spreading awareness
 By educating illiterate women about their rights, duties, laws and provisions.

 Conducting street plays in the local undeveloped areas in their own local
language.

 Applying posters and painting on trucks and public vehicles.

 Focusing more on animations and pictorial representation than words.

 Organising special class in government schools for enlightening the young


minds.
Fundraising tactics
 Creating a slogan for attracting the donors.

 Posters or banner containing the transparent nature of the organisation


working.

 Social media for influencing young donors.

 Making the world aware of the problem and proposing a solution.

 Appreciating any role/support of the donor to encourage the other.
