 People of Madinah asked Usman (R.A) to fight, but he refused
 Notable companions guarded the gates of Usman (R.A)’s house but
later he forbade them
 Violence occurred and the rebels martyred Usman (R.A) while he
was reciting the Quran
 His wife Naila’s fingers were cut off when she tried to save him
 Usman (R.A) died on Friday, 18th of Zil Hajj, 35 A.H
 Buried in Jannat-ul-Baqi in Madinah. He was 83 at that time
