HOW AMAZON HAS RESPONDED FOR ITS CRITICISMS?

 Criticism 1: New York times claims that Amazon is pushing its employees too far along with cut throat
competition and anger issues of Jeff Bezos
 Response: Bezos wrote a letter to his employees saying that he disagrees with the accusations made in the news and
hopes that they are enjoying their work.
 Criticism 2: Bezos’ ranking dropped when evaluated on the basis of social responsibility
 Response: He wrote to his employees, disagreeing with the evaluation and stating that he feels that amazon and its
employees are caring and any instances to the contrary must be pointed out to the HR or to him directly
 He proposed a zero-tolerance policy for such instances
 The best response Amazon gave to its criticism was to perform and grow exponentially and by continuing to
attract high quality talent
