Fire extinguishers are used at many different
in cidents including car fires. Small brush
fires and small dumpster fires.
Being able to use an extingusher quickly and
efficidently will save property further fire
fighting interventions.
It is criticl to understand the difference in
events from when a fire extingusher is
needed to when a hose line must be utilized.

protection device used to extinguish
or control small fires, often in
emergency situations. It is not
intended for use on an out-of-control
fire, such as one which has reached

hazard, etc.), or otherwise requires
the expertise of a fire brigade.
