What is faith?
 Belief or trust: belief in, devotion to,
or trust in somebody or something,
especially without logical proof
 Religion or a religious group: a system
of religious belief, or the group of
people who follow it
 Trust in God: belief in and devotion to
God
 The English word faith is dated from
1200–50, from the Latin fidem, or
fidēs, meaning trust.
 The word "faith" can refer to a religion
itself or to religion in general.
 The word "faith" can have a broad
meaning, and may be used in place of
“trust" or "belief."

Ghandi 1869-1948

Ghandi was the pre-eminent political and spiritual

leader of India during the Indian Independence
Movement.
He inspired movements for freedom and civil
rights across the world.
Martin Luther King 1929-1968

Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American

clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the
African-American Civil Rights Movement.
His main legacy was to secure progress on civil
rights in the United States, and he has become a
human rights icon.
Jade Goody 1981-2009

Jade Goody was made famous by her appearance on Big Brother in

2002.
In August 2008, she appeared on the Indian version of Big Brother, but
withdrew early from the show and returned to the UK after being
told she had cervical cancer. She sadly died in the early hours of 22
March 2009.

Faith is cool, it’s gold like a pound
Like it or not faith is all around
Better than facebook or skanking at a shubs
Faith is in everyone’s neighbourhoods

It has it’s own lyrics like choirs and rock

Jesus gave this world an impacting knock
Allah had a bigger impact than music of today
Religion and faith would beat music any day

Whether you believe in Buddha or not

He was known before you were placed in a cot
Faith and religion made the world what it is
Even if you don’t have faith don’t give it a diss
