Analysis of Data: • What does the data show for your assessment? • The data shows this test was rather accurate at assessing knowledge in majority, while a few questions, some of the higher order thinking questions, showed that only a small majority of the could correctly answer these questions requiring application of skills. In my classroom, I would review the difficult material in class to take care of any confusion. • What do the results suggest about your teaching? Where are your strengths and weaknesses? • The results suggest that my "class" may be difficult to fully grasp concepts, but that one will be able to do well on the information if they apply themselves. My weaknesses include the language I use, as some of my questions are a bit wordy and confusing, as well as my ability to create the most accurate questions. My work is well-developed, but could use clearer answers. I want to be able to fully understand concepts to portray them correctly and accurately to my students. • What did you learn from this experience? • I learned that test-creating and analyzing is much more involved and stressful than test-taking and studying. • What are the pros/cons of using a Google Form? • Pros- Anonymity, Customizability, Ease of use and easy to follow • Cons- Not always accurate, students can google answers if they are lazy, cheating is hard to catch Data Analytics - MicroBio/Biodiversity Quiz 15
