Introduction
Who Are Transgenders?

• Transgender (Also known as Shemale/Khawaja Sara)

• Most people do not even consider them as a part of


their family or community

• Rejection faced by transgender

• Approximately one out of 50 children are identified


with a transgender tendency
Issues For Trans-gender
• Lack of respect

• Lack of education

• Lack of justice

• Lack of job opportunities


Rights For Transgender
• To live in a community, integrity, along with
protection from torture or cruelty and abuse,
violence and exploitation.

• They have to be equally treated


• Gave them rights to go for higher education
• Gave them rights to do all kinds of jobs for the
survival in Pakistan
Current Situation Of Transgender In
Pakistan

• The supreme court of Pakistan has legally declared


recently that transgenders have equal rights and
are a normal citizen of Pakistan.
• Although, this is perhaps the first initiative taken by
Pakistani Government to safeguard the
transgender rights in Pakistan.
Conclusion

• In Conclusion After analyzing the transgender culture and


the gender binary, health care opportunities for trans
people, the work environment for trans people, the
harmful truths of trans youth and the current and past
activism attempts of trans people, the direction that our
society needs to head towards equality should be fairly
obvious.
