School education
• The central board and most of the state boards uniformly follow the
"10+2+3" pattern of education.
• In this pattern, study of 10 years is done in schools and 2 years in
Junior colleges, and then 3 years of study for a bachelor's degree.
• The first 10 years is further subdivided into 4 years of primary
education, 6 years of High School followed by 2 years of Junior
colleges.
• This pattern originated from the recommendation of the Education
Commission of 1964–66

Midday Meal Nutrition Scheme
• The Midday Meal Scheme is a school meal programme of the
Government of India designed to improve the nutritional status of
school-age children nationwide. Serving 120,000,000 children in over
1,265,000 schools and Education Guarantee Scheme centres, it is the
largest such programme in the world.

Pre-Primary education
• The pre-primary stage is the foundation of children's knowledge, skills
and behavior

Primary education
• The primary education in India is divided into two parts, namely Lower
Primary (Class I-IV) and Upper Primary (Middle school, Class V-VIII).
The Indian government lays emphasis on primary education ( Class I-
VIII ) also referred to as elementary education, to children aged 6 to
14 years old.

Secondary education
• Secondary education covers children aged 14 to 18, a group
comprising 8.85 crore children according to the 2001 Census of India.
The final two years of secondary is often called Higher Secondary
(HS), Senior Secondary, or simply the "+2" stage.
• UGC, NCERT, CBSE and ICSE directives state qualifying ages for
candidates who wish to take board exams.
10th (Matriculation or Secondary) Exam
• Students taking the grade 10 examination usually take six subjects:
English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, one language, and one
optional subject depending on the availability of teachers at different
schools.
12th (Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary) Exam
• Students taking the grade 12 examination usually take four or five
subjects with English or the local language being compulsory

EDUCATION OF TRIBALS IN INDIA

• The population of tribals in India is 8.43 crore in


2011 census. They constitue 8.2 % of population.
• But the literacy rate is 37% which is less than the
literacy rate of the bihar state.
• About 8 out of 10 women are illetrate. This state
the static situtation of them.
• There are many factor responsible for this
situtation.

• Lack of interst in formal education.

• The government has formed article 46A to improve the


education of tribals in india.
• Vocational instutation should be implemented for new
avenues.
• High level authority should check the functioning of
the school.
• Tribal welfare may be launched and awarness should
be spread amoung the by NGO.
• There were given reservation in government jobs.They
have priority to government jobs such as forest guide.
• Both central and state government providing
scholarship for tribals from private to doctorate.

Case study of private school in Kanpur

• The case study is suman vidhya nikaten a private school


was privately funded by the local businessman who started
under the trust.
• The fee structure is 120 per month which is very less than
other private school.
• But the no of student is just only 150.
• In case student are coming to school after admission they
are frequently contacted and their academic report is
frequently reported.
• They have decent teachers handling this school.
• But the right to education act does not helping this school.
• There is no proper government school in kanpur .

1. Lack of fund
 The lack of sufficient funds is the main problem in the development of
education.
 Due to insufficient funds most educational institutions lack
infrastructure, science equipment and libraries etc.
 Due to this reason, desired results cannot be achieved

 University, professional and technical education has become costly in
India.
 It is beyond the reach of common man. Privatization of higher
education has led to the growth of profit hungry entrepreneurs.

3. Mass illiteracy
 Despite constitutional directives and economic planning we are not
able to achieve cent percent literacy. -Even now 35 percent people
remain illiterate.
 In India, the number of illiterates is almost one-third of the total
illiterates in the world.
 Advanced countries are 100% literate; the position in India is quite
dismal

Effective use of technological tools in teaching has many benefits. It will

2. More government spending
India targeted towards devoting 6% share of the GDP towards the
educational sector, the performance has definitely fallen short of
expectations. Also funding is needed to be spend on building
infrastructure

3. Inclusive education system
Growth in education sector should incorporate all sections of society like
rural, urban poor ,woman Backward classes etc.

4. Quality education
Education provided should meet needs of student. e.g. education
provided to hearing impaired or slow learners. It should allow them to
enhance their skills and get better employment options
I’ll never say that Indian education is the
poorest education system, because I too
educating by the same Indian education
system.

As a Indian I proud to say that India has the best


teachers in the world, if you compare Indian
teachers to other country teachers, they have
more responsibilities to make the students as a
successful learners.

the syllabus or the content in the book, Try to be a
book with huge content.

With the effective learning system, India can


successfully utilize it’s vast human resource,
and by that the dream of our youngsters hero
