 14 Principles of management

 The administration theory was proposed by Henry

fayol.
 He studied the organisational problems from the
manager’s view point .
 And found organisation’s activities can be classified
as technical, financial, commercial, security,
accounting and managerial.
 Here, the presentation is done by comparing one of
the ethics with 14 principles of management.
 Our ethics is “ Bagavat Geetha”
 We have taken 2 verses namely,
1. The science of self realisation
2. The eternal duties of a human being
 COMPARISON
The science of self
realisation
 Lord krishna reveals
astanga yoga and
proposes the process of
practising such yoga.
 Explains that, the
difficulties of mind and
procedure by which one
may gain mastery of their
mind through yoga which
reveals the spiritual nature
of a living entity
Management lesson
 The 6th chapter in Bagavat
Geetha says the 3rd
principle : Discipline
 Obidience is a part of core
values of a mission and
vission in the form of good
conduct and respectful
interaction.
 It is seen as, the oil to make
the engine of an org. run
smoothly.
 COMPARISON
The eternal duties of
human being
 The performance of prescribed
duties is obligatory for everyone .
 Lord krishna explains about how
it is the duty of each and every
member of society to carry on
their functions and
responsibilities in their
respective stage of life according
to the rules and regulations of
society in which one lives.
 Further he explains about why
duties have to be performed , the
benefits and harmness

to employees
