INTRODUCTION:
According to Eneza Educational, absenteeism in school is the
habit of staying away from school without providing a genuine or
any reason for not attending classes. In the early grades, poor
attendance can delay social and emotional learning. Students
non-attendance is one of the early morning signs of dropping out
of school, 10 percent or more of the school year are at serious
risks of falling behind the school, the problem occurs at every
grade level.
Absenteeism can lead to depression and also result in poor
quality of education as a result of time lost while being away from
school. It has a substantial impact on performance.
MISSION:
To lessen the student’s absence on school for
the whole year and to help the students to
complete their attendance, output and school
tasks, and provides an opportunity to learn
literacy and social skills so necessary to
academic performance
VISION:
We dream of every students to get a
higher grades with high percentage in
achieving their goals and have a
successful life.
DESCRIPTION:
To achieve our mission, the group Every day Present set
the biggest change agent in attendance. In coordination
with the school administration and teacher:
1. Explain to the students the importance of
attendance
2. Discuss the disadvantage of absenteeism
3. Know the student’s reasons
4. Monitor and motivate the students to improve their
attendance through counselling and guidance
