• For women in maturity of reproductions.
• It’s not for women which has sexual infections.

 Kind of CuT 380A is one of many intra uterine

devices.
 It’s like “T” form.
 The indgredien or containing from cupper. Flexible,
plastic, strerile, non pyrogenic, non toxic and small
form.

 Ways of working IUDs

• IUDs work are primarily prevents the sperm and ovum

can’t meet each other.
• Inhibits the ability of sperm to enter the fallopi tubes.
• Allow to prevent implantation of the egg in the
uterus.
 Profits of IUDs

• As Contraception and high effectivity.

• Only 0,6 – 0,8/ 100 women had failed  pregnant (+).
• Very effective because no longer need to remember.
• Dosen’t not affect the sexual relationship.
• Increase sexual confortable because it dosen’t need to be
afraid to be pregnant.
• There is no hormonal side effect.
• Dosen’t affect the quality and breast milk volume.
• There are no interaction with drugs.

General Side effect:

• Menstruation cycle is change and many
more out of blood.
• Bleeding between menstruation.
• Dissmenore >.
 Another complications:
• It can be perforation of the uterine wall.
• Does not prevent sexual Transmition Infections
(STIs), including HIV/ AIDS
• Medical procedures, including pelvic examination is
required in the examination of the IUD.
• Patien can not remove the IUD by herself.
 Indications are:
Reproductive age
Can use long-term contraception
Breastfeeding who want to use contraception.

Does not want a hormonal method.
Do not like to remember to take a pill every day .
Doesn’t want a pregnancy after intercourse 1-5 days.
 Contraindications are:

• On pregnant.
• Bleeeding of vagina (makroskopik).
• Sedan.
• Positif Ca reproduction.
