many more. Most developers also specialize in certain
types of games, like computer role-playing games or
first person shooters.

produces games like Red Dead Redemption, Grand theft auto series Max Payne and Midnight club.
The genre that Rockstar is most famous for is action/adventure. Rockstar are a 3 RD party developers
because they are owned by other produces to make more money for there company. When Two-
Take Interactive was joined with Rockstar’ brand, several other ones retained their pervious
identities and have become part of the 2K games division.

Codemasters headquarters was made in Warwickshire, United Kingdom and was founded in
1986. Codemasters mostly produce games like formula 1, Super vs. Stars 2, Race driver grid
and many more. The genre that Codemasters makes is racing and action games. Codemasters
is one of the top Independent games developer because they are not owned by any other
producers. In 2007 Warner Bros. Home Entertainment group entered into a game distribution
agreement with Codemasters just to distribute the company's title in North America.

Eidos was a British video game producer and publisher, it is now part of Square Enix Europe. Eidos
headquarters was made in Wimbledon, London, England and was founded in 1990. Eidos games
mostly produces Tomb Raider, Hitman series, Fear effect and many more. The genre that Eidos is
most famous for is Action and adventure. Eidos was made in the 3 rd development party because they
have game publishers which produces the games with them to get more money and better games.
Another reason why Eidos are a third development party because by providing a external tool that
helps organize or use information for the primary software product. In addition headsets can be
referred as a third party because the headset is from a different console company. For example Call
of duty is a third party headset to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
