Honduras is home to seven ethnic groups,
which are located throughout the country and
speak a wide variety of dialects.

Visitors can appreciate its wealth and


diversity of attractions through the variety of
crafts, customs, traditions, and exotic,
multicultural rhythms feature in the different
types of music.

The most significant cultures: Lencas,


Chortis, Garifunas, Creole Islanders,
Nahuas, Tolupanes, Pech or Payas and
Los Misquitos.

The Bay Islands are a chain of three islands in the
Caribbean and are among the most popular
destinations in the world for diving.

cities of ancient Maya civilization and a
monumental archeological site, Copan is a
ruins complex known for its beautiful stone
temples, altars, hieroglyphs and stelae.
The ruins were recognized by UNESCO
as a World Heritage Site in 1980.
