Under Graduate:
Academic criteria varies from university to university and the program chosen. In general

⮚ IELTS 6/6 ; PTE 50/50
Post Graduate:
⮚Bachelor’s degree with no more than 10 backlogs with 60%

veracity of documents can be checked

• In order to process application further , the record should mandatorily exist in CRM.

STAGE
Counselling Team has to ensure that:-
• Application Form has to be filled by student only.
• Student Original Documents are to be scanned in office only and photocopy attested on
citing the original.
• The student should be aware of his academic background , his scores , if working his roles
and responsibilities.
• The student should be aware to which university he /she is applying for and which course.
• The student should be aware of the career outcomes of the chosen course.
• The student should be briefed of the tuition fees of the course, has visited university website
or checked the course structure in the university brochure.
• Student should be aware that he will get a call from university and it has to be
answered and attended.
GTE – FINANCIALS ASSESMENT

Note:- Please refer sheets given to you which indicates university wise financial requirement
to be met. No more than three sponsors and income and few funds from parents in visa file is mandatory.

✔The annual income option requires a student to provide evidence of personal annual income
of at least AUD 60,000. For students accompanied by family members, the requirement is at
least AUD 70,000. The income demonstrated must be the personal income of your spouse
(who is not coming with you) or parents. Where both of your parents are working, their
combined income can be considered for this requirement. Evidence must be in the form of
official government documents such as tax assessments. Evidence in the form of bank
statements or information directly from an employer is not acceptable.

• GTE Interview:-Student should be aware of the content in his SOP and his answers in
his interview should be in accordance to get the GTE Approval .
• Statement of Purpose:-
a) A good SOP indicates value of course to student future, return on investment &
retention to home country.
b) We would appreciate that Visa SOP and Application SOP are same to avoid repeated
work. So counsellors are encouraged to share the SOP guidelines to student during
their counselling. We understand that at application stage SOP may delay process ,
therefore at application stage para 5,6 and 10** in the SOP guidelines can be ignored

Student Visa-Subclass 500- With this visa student can

The Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) lets you live,
study and work in Australia temporarily after you have finished your studies.

This visa has two streams:


Graduate Work stream

For international students with an eligible qualification who graduate with skills and
qualifications that relate to an occupation on the list of eligible skilled occupations.
A visa in this stream is granted for 18 months from the date of grant.

Post-Study work stream


For international students who graduate with a higher education degree from an
Australian education provider, regardless of their field of study. A visa in this stream
can be granted for up to four years from the date the visa is granted, depending on
the visa applicant's qualification.
Bachelor Degree, Bachelor Degree with Honours, Masters by Coursework
Degree or Masters (extended) Degree – your visa is valid for two years
