what proofs can we give?

In what instances can we claim
this?
Missionary Response:
 As followers of Jesus, we are made to follow his
teachings and examples in our thoughts, words,
and actions.
 How? This is for everybody to reflect on.

God’s Kingdom
 A metaphor that sums up the core of Jesus’
ministry (teachings and examples)

 A master symbol concretizing within the


Jewish context what God wants and does for
His people.

 It is the state when we allow God’s will to


prevail our lives

Main Messages:
 God’s reign is powerfully transformative

 Great changes will take place when the


values of the kingdom are accepted by
the society.

 Our role is to create opportunities for the


Kingdom of God to grow.
Basic Characteristics of the Kingdom
of God:

1. Holistic: It covers all the aspects of our lives


(i.e. social, political, economic, spiritual and
the like)

2. Present and future: It concerns the here and


now and not just after life.

3. Gift and task: It is a reality but we need to


work for its realization
