 Henna brings color
I never took any art class in school. But just by observing
others I learned how to apply henna. Gradually, I began
earning money by applying henna. I became so well known
in my neighborhood for this, that whenever someone
wanted henna applied, they would come to me. I even got
an opportunity to travel by airplane to Agra to apply henna
but my parents did not let me go. They wanted me to
pursue a job that would be respected in society. But I felt a
storm within. I decided I would only pursue what my heart
wanted me to. I would prove through my hard work that no
job is small or big, only a person’s thinking is small or big.
• By the grace of God, things turned out well. I worked for 16
to 18 hours every day and with my earnings I completed by
bachelor’s course. Today, I have earned enough money to
start a small business. Even after marriage, I did not stop
applying henna because it is henna that has brought color to
my life. Today Monika is known not as her parents’ daughter
but people know her mother and father as Monika's parents.

- lograr que un mayor número de gente posible logre un
entendimiento común.

- Vygotsky (1978) destacó la importancia de la educación en torno a

las experiencias compartidas para crear un lenguaje común. La
experiencia multimedia de Digital Storytelling puede ser utilizado
para desarrollar este lenguaje común (Dogan 2008).

- Ejemplo: para estudiar la Gran Depresión los estudiantes: leen el

poema de Langston Hughes’s poem “The Ballad of the Landlord,” ven
videoclips de películas que hablan de la época escuchan el Jazz de los
primeros tiempos de Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington y la balada
de Woodie Guthrie “Tom Joad”, examinan fotos de Walker Evans y
Dorothea Lange y pinturas de Charles Demuth.
 
- el RD ofrece la posibilidad de unir todos estos temas de manera real,
subjectiva a la vez que holística. Esto no es posible con otro tipo de
experiencia educacional.
4.2. Relato Digital en “Tecnologia en el Aula”
 
- estudiantes han de justificar el uso de la tecnología en una
clase que se llama “Technology in the Classroom”

- han de utilizar programas gratis que se pueden usar para

enseñar y aprender.

- el énfasis aquí es más en tecnología.

- La parte visual y auditiva pueden server para ayudar en una

sesión de anticipación, o proveer una serie de estímulos para el
trabajo posterior de escribir, etc.
 4.3. Relato Digital en Arte
 
•Arte a nivel elemental

•Eligen un período histórico y un movimiento artístico y crean un relato

digital de 2-3 minutos.

•Contenido de arte: definición del tema, características y su importancia

para el arte.
•hands-on art activity to reinforce their Digital Storytelling topic. Each
Digital Story was presented to the class in tandem with a hands-on art
activity.
4.4. Relato Digital para educación infantil
 
Curriculum en Educación Infantil
a) Elegir temas para niños;
b) Determinar los objetivos
c) trazar un plan que tenga distintos tipos de actividades
d) distribuir las actividades por días (balance)
e) decidir esquema de distribución diaria de actividades
f) planificar el desarrollo del currículum para cada nivel .

Los grupos hacen una historia digital para cada uno de los temas que
incorporan en cada nivel y lo incluyen en los objetivos del curso escolar.
