How we came up with this idea
Our group came up with this idea by
firstly creating an idea development
mind map with 3 ideas from different
genres, we then developed the ideas
further and choose the idea we liked the
most and that we believed we were able
to create an effective short film.
The way we have made this different is that we have change the location of
filming from a living room to a wood this is ideal as normally woods are used
during night time this connotes to the horror genre and this will increase the
suspense in the film and add to the properties of a horror film.

The way that we are going to make our short film different than others is that
the way we film it as we will ensure that we vary the shots we use in this short
film and by doing this will improve the continuity of the film and help develop
the story as it is being told.
The things that could be copyrighted
-The song water//blood
-Logo
-Media in the shots( such as posters logos and music in the
background)

the way that we make sure that nothing copy righted is in our short
film is that with our song that we are using is that we went onto the
song description and see if they said if it was copyrighted or not this
video was non copyright so it was alright to use. The logo was made
by us so we know that is not copyrighted because it was of a website
that you could make your own logo and it has no copyrights on the
material. Another way we tried not to get a copy right strike is
having other people media content in the background this could be
from copyrighted music to posters, the way we did not get these in
our shots is that we made the location very isolated from this type of
thing this means nothing can get in our shots that we don’t want.

The reason why Luca and George J are doing some of
the art director is that he is
their roles together is because they are big pieces of
good at art on the computer
work and this will reduce the time doing this pieces
and will give them a second opinion on some of the so he is the perfect candidate

The way we have exchanged details is through
phone numbers. Then we put all of us in a
group chat, this is good because then we can
discuss what we are doing and make sure we
are all up to date with the coursework,
planning to get props or meeting up for the
filming. This is a good thing to have due to
the fact that it will make our group have good
communication due to the fact that we have a
group chat.

What we use to do this ?

Candle’s
This prop will give a visible effect to the audience with a creepy atmosphere
for the audience this is because the candles will not light up all the
surroundings also the candles will link into the genre as candles have
connotation to paranormal , creepiness and rituals.

Natural dark lighting

This type of lighting will be good in our short film this is because of the fact
that it will have a effect on the audience by it will make the scene dark and
mysterious and will make a theme of mystery in the short film.
Why it is good ?
The equipment list is a good piece of work to have
because it will explain what we need to film the
short film. This will also be good because it will
show us what we need for the budget and for the
film.

Why we need extra batteries ?

The reason why we need more batteries is that it
just incase that some of our bits of equipment do
run out of battery we do have a back up plan this
is good because of the reason that we are being
safe and on schedule.

Why we need a gimbal( Osmo )?

the reason why we need this is because when we
are doing action scenes this will stabilize the shot,
this will make the film look so much better as it
will be more smooth through out the short film.
This will make it more attractive to the audience
that we are going for.
