SUCCESS STORY

Nguyen Truong Khoa was born in 1980

without family, no home and had to live on
the streets. In the morning, Khoa carried a
mobile shelf to sell drinks at the bus
station. In the evening, Khoa went to a
night school for poor children. Khoa’s
teacher helped him a lot and introduced
Khoa to the SOS Children's Village Go
Vap as his new home in 1993.

Khoa said: “Things could have gone wrong

in my life. The day I was brought to SOS
Children’s Village was a big milestone of
my life. It brought back hope and future to
unlucky child like me. Today I am Head of
Import and Export Department in a US
company. I have a wonderful wife and a
beautiful daughter.” Khoa’s happy family
