ABSTRACT

Conducted a research on newly established modern style


lavish khoka, "Khoka Khola" which is situated in Beverly
Center, F-6/1, Islamabad.
This restaurant has basically targeted youth and is bringing
them close to our culture by providing rich "desi" food.
We have targeted this restaurant to check how do a newly
created food outlet manages to survive in the market
INTRODUCTION

• Serves delicious good old fashioned
desi food.
• No menus at the restaurant.
• Restaurant offers three
dishes:
butter chicken, thali and
daal chawal
RESEARCH QUESTIONS

The research questions are:


• How new eateries advertise to get known among
people?
• How new eateries survive in the market?
• How they maintain their position?
HYPOTHESIS

The hypothesis for the study is

‘’Is it easy for a new business to survive in the


market?’’
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The main objectives of this research paper are


• To find how a new eatery advertise to get known
among people.
• To check for the survival of the new eatery in the
market.
• To check how do they maintain their position.
RATIONALE OF THE STUDY

• Highlight the different factors that play a role in


setting up and sustaining a new business in the
eatery businesses.
• A small eatery like Khoka Khola plays its cards to
compete and maintain its worth.
METHODOLOGY

• Used Qualitative method for our research.


• Conducted an interview form the owner of the café.
• Asked certain questions about the café that are:
1. How long has khoka khola cafe been in this location?
2. Are you planning on keeping your atmosphere like this?
3. Where does the name Khoka khola come from?
4. How would you say Khoka khola is different from other cafes?
5. Do you have any specialty?
6. Would you ever think about opening in any other location?
7. What mistakes did you make while establishing your business and how did
you avoid them?
8. What methods have you adopted for advertisement of your cafe?
9. What are the total numbers of employees?
10. In conclusion, tell people how to find Khoka khola, what your hours are,
and how to find moreinformation?
11. Why did you want to work in the food and beverage industry?
12. How would you respond if a customer wrote something negative about
your service online, which you know to be inaccurate, and you later saw them
at the restaurant?
13. How would you recommend starting a new eatery business today?
14. There are a other cafes in the area. What do you feel sets you apart from
the others?
15. what do you say about your competitors? How are you better than them?

• Comprising of few regular starters i.e. PaapriChaat, DahiBhallay,
Qeema Naan, Aloo Naan, Achari Naan
and Cheese Naan

Chicken, Daal Chawal and a thali that
has channay, qeema, aloo, achaar and
salad that is served with naan.

• Small bowls that garnish the food.
• Serve Lassi in a simple steel glass.

Kazmi, Hareem Farooq came to the restaurant and shared
positive experience.

• Maintain a position in the market.

SUGGESTIONS

• The only place where Khokha Khola needs a little more


work and efficiency is service.
• Sometimes the orders gets delayed due to huge demand
and people get turned away or have to wait to get a
table.
• These problems should be solved.
