INTRODUCTION

 Café Coffee Day (CCD) is an Indian café chain


owned by Coffee Day Global Limited.

 They serve 1.8 Billion cups of coffee annually in


six countries.

 Café Coffee Day were the first one to launch the


‘Coffee Bar” concept in India.

 Their Network Strength is 1481 cafes in 200


Cities/towns across India and growing.
HISTORY

 Café Coffee Day was Established in 1996 by V.G Siddhartha.

 It is a Chikkamagaluru – based business which grows Coffee in its own estates


of 20,000 acres.

 It is the largest producer of Arabica beans in Asia exporting to various counties


including USA , Europe and Japan.

 The First CCD outlet was set up on July 11, 1996, at Brigade Road, Bengaluru,
Karnataka.

 In 2010, it was announced that a association led by Kohlberg Kravis


Roberts would invest 10 billion in Coffee Day Resorts, owned by the company.
