Guidelines on Existing B2B Product Analysis (8 marks):


Group presentations on August 3rd/4th Week
• Choose a B2B product/service provider

• Analyze the company focusing on the following


• Segmentation Strategy
• Product/Service portfolio & Strategy
• Pricing Strategy
• Promotion strategy
• Business networking modes/channels

• Try to relate to the concepts from book/taught in class


Guidelines on B2B New Product/Service Design (12
marks): Group presentations on Sept 3rd week
 Select a B2B Product/service of your choice. The task is to design a new B2B
Product/service that you will be launching in the market. Please note that it need
not necessarily be a completely new to the world product/service.
 Define the specific attributes of your product/service offering. (Articulate the
need for your new product/service offering relative to what already exists in
the market)
 Clearly indicate the segmentation strategy you will follow
 Elaborate on Marketing mix for you new product/service
 Create a website (wordpress/wix or any other tool) and show that how to include
key words for your product/services in your website
 Bonus marks for creating social media pages for your product/service

While presenting think yourselves as founders of the start up pitching to a potential investor
