Requires 3 elements
1) Activation Key – supplied with FlukeDAQ 6.0 software

Activation Keys are valid for one computer

activation only

2) Site Code – derived locally from customer PC network

adapter – unique to a PC

3) Site Key – obtained from Indusoft [software authors] on

submission of Activation Key & Site Code via website
Be sure to load the USB driver found in the download if using
USB for your 1586A / 2638A

Assumes FlukeDAQ 6.0 is installed

Step 1 – obtain Site Code

i) Close FlukeDAQ then go to Start - All
Programs – FlukeDAQ 6.0 – Register
ii) Protection Manager window appears

Select ‘Softkey’ and click ‘Check’ button

iii) Softkey Settings window appears

iv) Change License – Softkey window appears

Click Change License button

v) Click on Network Adapter dropdown box

vi) Select one of the Network Adapter options – preferably a permanent one
such as the Ethernet module. This will generate the Site Code

vii) Copy Site Code for next step

Step 2 – obtain Site Key

i) Sign in and register on the Indusoft website

ii) Enter Site Code and Activation Key [on delivered DVD package from Fluke]

iii) Click on Get Site Key

iv) WAIT on this page until Site Key appears
v) Copy Site Key to Notepad or Word

Step 3 – Authorize
i) Return to Change Licence – Softkey window

ii) Paste Site Key you have just copied into Site Key window

iii) Click Authorize key

iv) Keep a record of Site Key in case you need to move license to another computer
