 WHAT IS DRAMA?
Drama is a piece of composition in
prose or verse, presented in a
dialogue or pantomime as a story
involving a conflict or contrast and
resolution of a character(s).

Drama is not all about being on

stage and in a costume speaking.
 THE PURPOSE OF DRAMA CLUB
The purpose of the Drama Club is to
learn about acting, play
production, and stage work
culminating with two play nights.

Drama Club aims to enhance

educational achievement through
the power of theatre.
 OUR MOTTO

 REQUIREMENTS
-Every one MUST wear closed toed shoes!-You need have on loose comfy clothes to
move around in because we will be using our bodies!
Always listen to the director (director knows best!)
-Bring a positive attitude to every meet!
-NO food during drama meets
-Try to bring water to help your voice
-We encourage compliments to your friends but please do not direct them!
-HAVE FUN!!!!!
 OBJECTIVES
 Improve comprehensibility in speaking and writing
 Promoting school and community relations through a display of the school's
intellectual and artistic work.

Learn how to think critically in order to successfully participate in dramatic

improvisations.

Develop skill in oral language and all expressive mechanisms (voice and bodily
expression).
To emphasize actor training, script analysis, and the creative design and use of
production elements
 ADVANTAGES
Build your confidence in your abilities.
Gives you the chance to meet some great people.
A great deal of fun and we all know how good laughter is for us.

A fantastic way of unleashing your creativity.

Participating in a drama class can actually be helpful in your career.
 If you need a new hobby, drama is a great option and one that
opens up a lot of opportunities.
