Surfing or boarding is a water

sport that consists of making


wide turns and maneuvers
taking advantage of the force
of a wave, on a board.
In 1778 a British expedition under the
command of Captain James Cook, who
was sailing from Tahiti to North America,
coincidentally met a group of unknown
islands until then, and later they would
be called Hawaii Islands

It was in 1820, with the arrival of


Calvinist Christian missionaries, almost

resurface on the Hawaiian coast, especially on the

come later.
