SKENARIO 4

“PARAMETRICS”

A puskesmas head conducts activity statistics as an annual puskesmas

activity report. The activity starts from the data to the interpretation of the
data. Activities carried out in the form of a survey related to pneumonia in
infants that occur in the work area of the health center. After conducting
the survey, the head of the puskesmas and the team conducted data
processing before the data processing was prepared. Data were analyzed
using a non-parametric hypothesis test, the chi-square test to determine
whether there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the
incidence of pneumonia in infants. Data is presented in tabular form.

and explain the non-parametric
strengths and weakness.
A. Non-parametric strengths
1. Assumptions in non-parametric statistical tests are
relatively less. If data testing shows that one or several
of the considerations underlying parametric statistical
tests (for example regarding the nature of data
distribution) are not met, then non-parametric
statistics are more appropriate to use than parametric
statistics.
2. The calculations can be done quickly and easily, so
that the results of the assessment can be delivered.
3. To understand the concepts and methods does not
require a deep mathematical and statistical basis.
b. Non parametric weakness
1. If the assumptions of parametric statistical tests
are met, the use of nonparametric tests,
although faster and simpler, will lead to waste of
information.
2. The principle of calculation in non-parametric
statistics is relatively simpler, however the
calculation process / stage often requires a lot of
effort and is tedious.
3. If the sample is large, then the level of non-
parametric efficiency is relatively lower
compared to the parametric method.

explain the verses of the Qur'an and
the Hadith in the scenario.
Q.S al-Mukminun [23]: 12–14

Meaning:
“And truly, We have created man from essence (from) from the ground. Then
We make it semen (which is stored) in a firm place (womb). Then, we make the
semen sticky, then the sticky thing we make a lump of meat, and the lump of
meat We make bones, then we wrap the bones with flesh. Then, We make it
another (shaped) being. Glory be to Allah, the best Creator. (Q. al-Mukminun
[23]: 12–14)
Al- Jatsiyah : 35

Meaning:
“That is, because surely you have made
the verses of Allah a joke and you have
been deceived by the life of the world, so
today they are not expelled from hell nor
are they given the opportunity to repent.”
