Idea Details
Main theme of our idea:

The main idea is to extract the features by applying a modified U-Net – an artificial neural network for image segmentation.
Separate models are used for each class, because it is easier to fine tune them individually for better performance and to overcome imbalanced
data problems. As the input is a 3-band image we can extract different classes such as: Crop area, Forest area, Vegetation Area.
These features can be applied for various purposes such as identifying amount of crop to be generated, estimating the seasonal change
of the crop area or vegetation area, current forest cover in an area using algorithms like PCA.
A standalone application is developed to provide interface to the users. Using this application user can upload the input image and obtain
the segmented image and information and related statistics of the given data.
