Direction: Arrange the steps in replacing a blown-
out fuse by numbering them from 1 – 5.
_____ 1. Open the cover of the main
switch.
_____ 2. Turn off the current in the main
switch.
_____ 3. Turn on again the main switch.
_____ 4. Close the cover of the main
switch.
_____ 5. Using long nose pliers, remove
the blown-out fuse and replace with the
new one.
Direction: Number the following steps in
replacing switch.
____ 1. Loosen the screws of the switch plate.
____ 2. Turn off the main switch.
____ 3. Return the screws in their proper
places. Try to switch on and off the light.
____ 4. Remove the screws of the body of the
switch.
____ 5. Loosen the screws inside the switch
which is holding the wire.
____ 6. Be sure that the skinned wire is
twisted properly in a clockwise direction.
