Case Definition of Covid-19

• Suspected Case: A person presenting with:

Fever (>38°C) or history of fever and symptoms of respiratory tract illness e.g.
cough, difficulty in breathing AND in the last 14 days before symptom onset, a
history of travel from China or other affected countries

OR
Fever (>38°C) or history of fever and symptoms of respiratory tract illness e.g.
cough, difficulty in breathing AND in the last 14 days before symptom onset, close
contact with a person who is under investigation or confirmed for 2019-nCoV

Suspected case with laboratory confirmation of 2019-nCoV
