• Justice tatting is a judge who believes that emotions and rule of law are two compeletly di

ffernt docterin He says that in majority of his judgement he keeps emotions away from rati
onality. But he mentions that in this perticular case he is unable to do the same. Justice ta
tting is in a sanse of delama regarding the approach he Shuld be using to decide the case j
ustice tatting on one hand simply rejects the idea of jurisdictional conflict proposed by jus
tice foster but at the same time he accepts that the situational elements have prime impor
tance in deciding a matter. Therefor in his judgement he decided to stay nutral.
• im my opinion Justice tatting was correct in his approach as he inculcated both rationality
and emotions. at onE prticulaR point Of time he defended positive laW and on the other h
e tried to understand the irrationality explorers went through while they were in the cave
but justice tatting remaind nutral and left the decision on the shoulders of the other judge
s. Here his actions indicated that He lacked wisdom.

• The overview of the case suggest tO me THat judges themselves were agreeing to the facT
tHat the punishment given to the accused was unjust but the eventually got punished bec
ause the judges have no other choice but to strictly follow the return law. I strongly suppor
t justice foster and handy in their decisions and vblievEd that The accused should not have
been punished because the step they took was a step which had to be undertaken by the
m to place in a very un rasonAlbLe And disfotunate Wherein thEy had no other Choice but
to save therir own lIfe and kill mr. Whetmore.
