MECHANISTIC CULTURE
According to Black’s law
dictionary, “the organization is
hierarchical and bureaucratic.
Highly centralized authority.
Formalized procedures and
practices
Specialized functions.
ORGANIC CULTURE
According to Business dictionary
meaning, that the organization takes
into consideration the needs of their
employee.
Low specialization
Decentralization
Flatness in communication and
Interaction
AUTHORITARIAN CULTURE
Authoritarian culture means power
of one. In this culture, power remain
with the top level management
Any disobedience is punished
severely
It is assumed that leader know what
is good for the organization
PARTICIPATIVE CULTURE
In participative culture,
employees actively participate in
the decision making
Employees are perfectionist
Culture tends to emerge where
most organizational member see
themselves as equal
STRONG CULTURE
In a strong culture, the
employees are loyal and have
a feeling of belongingness
They are proud of company
Perception and commitment
are two aspects
WEAK CULTURE
In a weak culture, the
employees hardly praise the
organization
There is no loyalty towards
company
High labour turnover and
dissatisfaction are two aspects
DOMINANT CULTURE
In this culture, majority of sub-
cultures combine to become a
dominant culture
The success of dominant culture is
dependent on the homogeneity of
the sub-culture
At the same point of time, some cold
war between a dominant culture and
a minor culture can also be seen
ENTREPRENEURIAL CULTURE
 It is flexible and risk-taking culture
 In this culture, employees show their
innovativeness in thinking and are
experimental in practices
 The employees make goals easy To achieve
 Employees are given freedom in their activity
 The organization rewards the employees for
better performance
