FUTURE TENSE

2 types of Future Tense :

1. Will : S + will / shall+ infinitive
Eg. They won’t go somewhere tomorrow.
I’ll be there in five minutes, so wait for me!
Shall we leave at 9.30 tomorrow morning ?
2. Be going to : S + tobe + going to + infinitive
Eg. She is going to have a test next Monday.
We aren’t going to be in Jakarta tomorrow night.
Are the students going to have a test next week?
Exercise :
Say these sentences in English !
1. Kapan kamu akan menelpon ibumu?
2. Apa yang akan kamu lakukan besok?
3. Apakah kamu akan menemani ku pergi ke
dokter?
4. Semester depan, kita akan mulai kerja praktek di
perusahaan swasta.
5. Dua minggu lagi, saya akan mengikuti
wawancara kerja di perusahaan asing.
6. Jika kamu banyak merokok, kamu akan terkena
kanker paru-paru.
