A.Do you have any hobby or any interest ?

B.”Yes I love singing and teaching..”

A.Why don’t you promote your interest ?


B.”I am a retired sociological teacher from the intercollege. I used to sing
when I was young on radios.
Even my daughter-in-law is a good singer. I would love to promote my
interests now but there is no source for it.”

A.Is there any source where the people of this area can promote there
interests?
B.”No, there are no such sources. I even tried to take tutorial classes for the
students residing here for free but it all failed…”

A.Why is it so? What to you think is the reason behind it?


B.”The mentality of the people is the people! Majority of the people are
uneducated and thus they don’t allow to promote such sources.. The women
here have a lot of potential but it’s all in vain…”

A.So what do you think is the solution for this?


B.”Education! It’s the only source.
Women should be taught handicrafts as well so that they can also have
some contributions to the banarasi silk production and become self
independent !!”
A.In the entire of the the moholla your’s is the only
we found having some gardening done in the
house.
B.” other than working at the power plants and
temple my interest is in gardening. I have a huge
variety of flowering plants here. The entire space is
full of fragrance when they bear the flowers. “
A.Where do you stay and since when you are selling
flowers over here ?
B.”I stay in a village which is far away from this moholla .I
am selling here since 7-8 years”

A.Then why do you come all the way long to here for selling
flowers?
B.”This place because here are temples all around. And so I
get to sell more flowers at this place.”

A.Why don’t you rent a shop for this ?


B.”Because I don’t get that much money. I get the flowers
from the chowk for rupees 50-100 and including that I just
earn rupees 200-250 each day.. So that isn’t enough for me
to rent a shop. I don’t have to pay any money sitting
outside and selling here.”

A.How are your interests?


B.”I love making garlands.. Garlands with different patterns
of flowers.. It’s so amazing..”
A. What is your’s and your husband’s education?
B.”I am 12th passed and he is 4th passed.”

A.Then why didn’t you educate further ?


B.”I wanted to study further…”

A.Then why didn’t you..?


B.”being the eldest child of my family I had to sacrifice my studies for the
sake of my family due to some problems.”

A.So you still have interest in studies ?


B.”Yes! I try to read my children’s book when no one there at home and
also do art homework for my children.”

A.So you love drawing as well?


B.”Yes I was the brightest student in my school in art and studies both.”

A.Why don’t you think of continue your studies further?


B.”When I go to pick my children from school , I meet my teachers and they
also say the same.
But..”

A.What?
B.”I can only afford to send my children to school now…”
A.Where does the children come from who stay in this
ashram?
B.”The children come from different parts of our country
to study the vedic knowledge and become a priest.”

A.Where do the children stay ?


B.”They stay at a distance away from this school. That also
belongs to the same trust, Maharshi Yogi Baba trust.”

A.What do the children learn other than that of vedic


knowledge over here?
B.”They are taught to love the nature over here…”
A.what do you think is a necessary change in the moholla
that can simplify all the problems?
B.”Buildings are made but no one thought keeping the
future in mind a place for parking.”

A.Do you know the story of the woman who is selling the
vegetables down of the buildings?
B”.Yes, she is from the village. She is very poor and doesn’t
have money to rent a shop.”

A.So how is it that she sells vegetables there..and people


don’t mind?
B.”Because she is poor, people feel pity of her and gives her
some place to stay and sell vegetables.”

A.How does she pay the rent for people?


B.”The people staying here are very helpful. So they provide
her with shelter and in turns she provide them with free
vegetables for one time.”
