CONDITIONALS
Conditionals are sentences that are
formed by two clauses: the main clause
and the secondary one. The secondary
clause is the condition that has to
happen to have a result (the main one.
The IF clause always has the
conditional word if (si condicional,
only to express conditions; not to
answer a yes / no question)

THE THIRD CONDITIONAL

and then 'would have' and the past participle in the second part of
the sentence:
•if + past perfect, ...would + have + past participle
It talks about the past. It's used to describe a situation that didn't
happen, and to imagine the result of this situation.
