Concept of Data Center
Cloud computing:
cloud computing is the delivery of
computing services—including servers,
storage, databases, networking,
software, analytics, and intelligence—
over the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer
faster innovation, flexible resources,
and economies of scale. You typically
pay only for cloud services you use,
helping lower your operating costs, run
your infrastructure more efficiently
and scale as your business needs
change.
5.2 Big Data

Big data is a term that describes the large

volume of data

To really understand big data, it’s helpful

to have some historical background. Here
is Gartner’s definition, circa 2001 (which is
still the go-to definition): Big data is data
that contains greater variety arriving in
increasing volumes and with ever-higher
velocity. This is known as the three Vs.
Put simply, big data is larger, more
complex data sets, especially from new
data sources. These data sets are so
voluminous that traditional data
processing software just can’t manage
them. But these massive volumes of data
can be used to address business problems
you wouldn’t have been able to tackle
before.

A virtual private network (VPN) is
programming that creates a safe,
encrypted connection over a less
secure network, such as the public
internet. A VPN uses tunneling
protocols to encrypt data at the
sending end and decrypt it at the
receiving end.
