Commercial Code Obligations of merchants

Article 19. It is the obligation of every merchant:

1) Enroll in the commercial register;

2) Enter in the commercial register all acts, books and

documents in respect of which the law requires such
formality;

3) Keep regular accounting of their business in accordance

with legal requirements;

4) Conserve, according to the law, correspondence and

other documents related to their business or activities;

5) Report to the competent judge the cessation in the

current payment of their mercantile obligations, and

6) Refrain from executing acts of unfair competition
