What is LEARNING?
The acquisition of knowledge or skills through
experience , study, or by being taught
The process of gaining knowledge
Acquiring new, or modifying and reinforcing
existing knowledge, behavior, skills, values or
preferences and may involve synthesizing
different types of information
Kinds of Student’s Learning
1. Passive
is a learning in which students sits in the
classroom and listen to teacher’s lecture about
the subject.
2. Active
involves students thru questions, discussion,
interaction and debating the subject matter.
Dale's Cone of Experience/Learning is a model that incorporates several
theories related to instructional design and learning processes. During the
1960s, Edgar Dale theorized that learners retain more information by what
they “do” as opposed to what is “heard”, “read” or “observed”.

developed the Cone of Experience. He made
several contributions to audio and visual
instruction, including a methodology for
analyzing the content of motion pictures.
