How can I help my child at
home?
Encourage your child and make the activity fun.
If you appear to be enjoying the activity, it’s
more likely that they will too!

Try to incorporate Maths into your daily

life:
-paying with coins/notes at the shop
-giving your child a budget to manage pocket
money/gifts

Work on developing quick recall of number

bonds to 10 and 100 – this is fundamental to
all mental and written methods.

a search engine that’s really good for finding
maths games etc. Just select the topic you want
to practise. You can also use this for other
subjects such as English and Science.
https://www.mathsisfun.com/ - great
explanations for each topic.

this gives information about the topic and then
