How do I spend my ‘Leisure Time’? • My leisure time is spent in conjunction with my mood. Sometimes I want to do something active, so I will go to the gym, take a walk, or play in my computer. Other times I want to just be, so I might meditate or sit outside and soak up some nature. Then there are times where I want to engage my mind so I will read, write, or network. Finally, and most importantly, are the social times where I adore spending time with family and friends. How can you spend your free time? Remember we all have the same 86400 sec per day out of which doing the repetative and mundane activities like sleeping, eating etc takes some share of the pie and professional commitment takes a huge chunk leaving one with a small share of the pie for his/her leisure. Below is what I try to do and would advise people to do in their leisure time. 1.Read Books: Read books- Reading books improve your vocabulary.Books take you to an entirely new world and feed your imagination. 2. Learn new art: Learn a new art- Cultivate this art into your hobby.Hobbies nurture the creative soul in us.You can learn gardening,collect stamps and coins,origami ,cooking or anything interesting. Listen to music: Listen to music-Music improves our mood,lifts us and fills our soul.Listen to all kinds of songs. Traveling: Traveling- Keep your boredom aside,go out and meet new people.Traveling opens us to new things. Use your free time carefully!
