Autism is a genetic disorder that affects social skills and communication. It is caused by mutations in genes responsible for neuronal growth, serotonin metabolism, and neuronal migration. Symptoms usually appear by age 2 and include reduced eye contact, lack of response to their name, withdrawal, and loss of language skills. While there is no cure, treatment can help manage symptoms.

WHAT IS THIS? • This is a genetical disorder that makes kids can´t socialize with other kids or someone. This disease hasn´t cure, the only thing that you can do is receive a treatment it will helps you with it. MUTATIONS THAT CAUSES IT • This disease is formed because there are mutations on the gen: MET, SLC6A4, RELN • All of them are important because “MET is the gen that is encharged of neuronal growth, SLC6A4 is encharged of serotonine metabolism, and RELN is encharged of neuronal migration WHAT TYPE OF MUTATION IS? • The thing with this is that with this disease we can´t certainly know which type of mutation it has, but the only thing we can say is that something called exome is deleted (which is the sequences that codify proteins) is deleted, so it can´t codify protein´s sequences WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS? • Some children show signs of autism in their infancy, such as reduced eye contact, lack of response to their name. Other children may develop normally for the first few months or years of life, but then suddenly become withdrawn or aggressive or lose language skills they've already acquired. Signs usually are seen by age 2 years. CONCLUSION • With this the only thing we can say that the people who has this disease we have to understand it because the don´t have the guilt, the only thing is that this disease most of the cases is developed on their pregnancy development
