Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29,

1958. He was eighth of the ten children of the couple Joseph
Walter Jackson and Katherine Esther Scruse. He had five brothers
and three sisters.

as a member of his family
band The Jackson 5. His solo
career earned him the title
"King of Pop". His studio

classics. Jackson is equally
