• Something you’d like to be true but for some
reason it’s not.
• It can be something with real possibility or
not, just a dream. e.g.:
• I wish I could have a dog. (real)
• I wish I had wings like an eagle. (unreal)
 Rule:
• Suj + wish + Past tense

e.g.:
• Marcelo wishes he could play his electric
guitar tomorrow.
